A visit to Vienna from 1 April to 5 April 2019 This price includes airfare from Gatwick, four-star accommodation in the city centre, breakfasts, all entries and transport within Vienna. There will be a guide throughout. There are some real highlights. A visit to Schönbrunn Palace, Melk Abbey and a return along the Danube, guided visits to the Kunsthistorisches Museum, the Hofburg as well as two walking tours taking in the state apartments, the jewel and porcelain collections and the Belvedere Palace with its Klimt collection. Action packed days with the evenings to explore what the city offers (two opera houses and concert halls) and all within walking distance. Bookings will be taken from the October meeting. | A VISIT TO BARCELONA |

Following on from our very successful visit to Dresden we plan to spend five days in Barcelona, leaving on 21st October. We shall be staying at the Hotel SB ICARIA near the Olympic village.(www.hotelicariabarcelona.com/en). We shall have one dinner there and the remainder or our stay will be on a B and B basis. During the stay we shall have a fullday guided tour of Bareclona; a visit to Figueres to see the Meseo Teatrico, devoted to the works of Salvador Dali; a day at the great abbey of Montserrat and the cathedral at Gerona, a city which also houses the Fundacio Miro. Our last day is to be spent at the Museo Nationale d'Arte de Catalonya. The all inclusive price for a double room is £1089 per person (£199 single supplement. Transfers will be provided from Wroughton and from Marlborough and we shall be flying from Bristol or Hearthrow.
